*Pink Cat Art History Lesson - Leonardo's Vitruvian Man was drawn in 1492 based on Da Vinci's reading of the ideal proportions of the human figure discussed in the De Architectura of Vitruvius and represents the apotheosis of Renaissance thought on human anatomy. It is currently stored in the Gallerie dell'Accademia in Venice but is not on general display. Drop these facts into kitchen conversation and impress your guests!
