A fun object combining two objects: a portable compass and the classic pocket case watch.

A most antiquated scientific instrument.

The first portable watch is believed to have been created by Peter Henlein in Germany in 1524.

This is a high quality brass object which is perfect for practical use as well as ornamentation.

Constructed to the highest quality, a working piece of scientific history.

This classical compass comprises a small needle sensitive to magnetism, which rotates on a pivot to indicate the magnetic North. A piece to truly treasure.

Dimensions approximately 4.5 cm X 1.1 cm ( 1 3/4" X 3/8").

Chain loop approximately 38 cm long (i.e. overall chain length is approx. 76cm long).
