The horologium noctis was constructed in 1569 in Florence by Girolano della Volpaia.
This is a replica of the original currently in residence in the History of Science Museum in Florence.
Constructed to the highest quality, a working piece of scientific history.
Made of three concentric brass disks, which turn freely with respect to each other around a central ring.
Like a sun dial for the stars.
Comes in presentation box with stand.
